Cunningham Named CDS Officer of the Year Print E-mail
February 4, 2013 - Central Defense Security (CDS), a leading provider of business, retail and warehouse security, has selected Forrest Cunningham as its 2012 Officer of the Year. For the past seven years, CDS has given the Officer of the Year award to an enthusiastic and dedicated officer who exemplifies the CDS standard of excellence. Cunningham is an unarmed officer for CDS and is stationed at The Monarch in East Memphis.

“Since he joined CDS in 2011, Forrest has demonstrated an unfailing commitment to our firm and is willing to go beyond what is expected to serve our clients,” said Larry Carroll, Chief Operating Officer of Central Defense Security.

Cunningham has been with the security firm for more than a year and was selected as Officer of the Year for his continued dedication to the CDS team and clients. In addition to taking ownership of his post and guaranteeing client satisfaction, Cunningham has also taken the lead in training new officers. He works closely with new officers to help them learn the CDS standard in security services, as well as ensure they understand and feel comfortable with their new responsibilities.

“Forrest is well respected among his peers and serves as a role model for our new officers,” said David Puryear, Operations Manager at CDS. “He’s an important asset to the CDS team and we’re grateful for his continued service.”
